For $120 per year ý or just $10 a month, you can help provide free services available to men, women, teens, children and their families impacted by cancer.  Gildaýs Club Chicago welcomes members facing any type of cancer and embraces the entire family living with cancer because a cancer diagnosis affects every family member.

What can $120 do?

-          Cover three Tai Chi classes for a class of 10 members

-          Host a Latino support group

-          Present Cancer in the Classroom to a school of a student diagnosed with cancer

-          Host a memberýs reception to meet a ýTop Docý after a free lecture presentation

-          Bring kids together through a Kidsý support group

-          Help adults find compassion at an adult bereavement group

In a typical month, Gilda's Club Chicago hosts more than 150 separate member activities. All programs are free.  Cooking demonstration, yoga classes and pottery workshops are all part of the Clubýs philosophy.  When individuals touched by cancer come together based on their individual interests, they connect.  In this community setting, conversations turn to shared experiences about cancer ý from family interactions to shared concerns as parents.  Last year the Club hosted more than 8,000 member visits. Our members learn from each other in a way that only someone having been through similar experiences can fully understand.
