One of the top pediatric hospitals in the nation, Lurie Children’s provides the highest quality, family-centered care to children. Our mission is to enhance the health and well-being of children through patient care, research, education and advocacy.
The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Lurie Children’s treats more children with cancer and blood disorders than any other hospital in Illinois. Although cancer is rare in children, we treat 220 new patients each year for a wide range of childhood cancers. It is the top pediatric cancer program in Illinois, and ranked 11th in the nation by U.S.News & World Report.
Gilda’s Club at Lurie Children’s offers GCC @ School, a free school-based educational program for students with cancer or with cancer in the family.

Parking
Patients and visitors can park at a discounted rate in the Northwestern Memorial Hospital garage, 222 East Huron Street, and at 321 East Erie Street. Parking garage tickets must be validated each time a car is parked.
Parking rates are:
- $11 for less than seven hours
- $24 for seven to 24 hours
