The Gilda’s Club Chicago Associate Board invites you to our annual Gilda's Night Out, a celebration of the healing power of humor. This event brings together community members, supporters, and anyone impacted by cancer for a night filled with joy, connection, and purpose.

  • Date: Saturday, November 2, 2024
  • Location: iO Theater (1501 North Kingsbury Street, Chicago)
  • Dress Code: Dress to express!
  • 6:30 PM - Main Event
    • Comedy performances
    • Silent Auction: Bid on exclusive items, with all proceeds supporting Gilda's Club Chicago
    • Cocktail Reception: Savor delicious food and drinks while mingling with other guests
  • 10:00 PM - Not Suitable for Primetime After Party
    • Cash bar
    • Dance party with DJ Adderall Spritz
    • Drag personalities

-Featuring-

Rogue Schmidt (she/they) is a queer actor and  comedian that was voted Best Comedian by The Chicago Reader in 2023. Their debut solo show, “The Locker Room” ran at The Annoyance Theatre for 6 sold-out weeks and went on to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Rogue contributes frequently to The Paper Machete at The Green Mill, and was cast in the Annoyance’s Just For Laughs Showcase, The Event, an LGBTQ+ showcase at The Second City, and The Future of Comedy Festival at The Lincoln Lodge. Rogue also co produces/cohosts Brutal Sketch Comedy, a monthly variety show at The Lincoln Lodge. Rogue is represented by Grossman and Jack Talent. Their Instagram & TikTok is @rogueschmidt

Kevin Jeanes is the weekend morning meteorologist for NBC 5, born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. He graduated from Neuqua Valley High School and Eastern Illinois University with degrees in geography and communications, along with minors in broadcast meteorology and earth sciences. Kevin earned his National Weather Association Seal of Approval in 2011.

Before returning to Chicago, he worked as the weekday morning meteorologist at WXYZ in Detroit, winning multiple Emmys for “Best Meteorologist.” He was also Chief Meteorologist at KOLD in Tucson, Arizona, where he met his wife, Lisa. His first commercial TV job was at WWBT in Richmond, Virginia, forecasting a wide range of weather.

Kevin has two children, Eddie and Evelyn, and is an avid Chicago sports fan.
