Associate Board Membership
Join the Gilda's Club Chicago Associate Board and build strong ties with other emerging leaders while making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals impacted by cancer. We are looking for individuals who can commit their talents, time, and relationships to the mission. By providing leadership opportunities through fundraising, volunteerism, and networking, members of the Associate Board are connected to the mission of Gilda’s Club Chicago and make sure no one faces cancer alone.

Fundraising
Each AB member must raise $1,500 (minimum) through:
- Ticket Sales to events
- In-kind contributions
- Corporate donations
- Peer-to-peer fundraising — any event on behalf of Gilda’s Club Chicago through Team Gilda
Time Commitment
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Join event planning committees
- Volunteer at the Club and in the community
- Be Creative! Think of the unique skills you have. How can you best support Gilda’s Club Chicago?
Advocacy and Awareness
- Be an advocate for the Club, personally and professionally
- Proudly tell everyone of your involvement with Gilda’s Club Chicago
- Connect your network to the Club!

Saturday Brunch Live!
Saturday, April 26 | 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Live from Chicago… It’s Saturday Brunch! Join us on Saturday, April 26, 2025, as the Gilda’s Club Chicago Associate Board hosts our annual Craft Beer Tasting & Brunch at the iconic Goose Island Barrel House (603 N. Sacramento Blvd, Chicago, IL 60612).
Enjoy a delicious spread paired with top-notch brews, all while supporting a cause that truly matters. Every dollar raised goes directly to Gilda's Club Chicago, a welcoming community offering free services to those impacted by cancer—patients, families, caregivers, and loved ones alike. From support groups and healthy lifestyle activities to educational lectures and social events, your support keeps these critical services thriving.

Team Gilda
The Associate Board supports our endurance program, Team Gilda, throughout the year by volunteering at events, recruiting athletes, joining fun runs, and supporting Team Gilda members as they train and fundraise. Gilda's Club Chicago partners with the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle, and Venture Endurance (Cinco de Miler, Soldier Field 10) as well as supports Team Gilda members in participating and fundraising in any endurance event.

Gilda’s Night Out
Last year, the Gilda’s Club Chicago Associate Board hosted Gilda’s Night Out at iO Theater, celebrating the healing power of laughter. Guests enjoyed inspiring stories, comedy from Rogue Schmidt, and a lively afterparty with drag performances. While the event is no longer being held, its spirit lives on. Untapped
The Associate Board of Gilda's Club Chicago hosted Untapped, their annual craft beer tasting event. Beer enthusiasts and foodies enjoyed food pairings from Goat Group Catering, Goose Island craft beers, tours of the Barrel House, and the chance to win fabulous prizes. Proceeds from the event benefited Gilda's Club Chicago, a free support community for men, women, children, families, and friends impacted by cancer.
