Friends of Marlene fundraise to help provide essential services for those impacted by cancer at Gilda’s Club Chicago. The needs of cancer patients and their families are immediate. We hope that you will open your hearts and support these critical services. Marlene Hetzel Palmerson lost her battle with cancer — we honor and miss her!
As an essential component of cancer care, these services include healthy lifestyle workshops, support groups, social activities, resource referrals, and educational lectures. Everyone who knew Marlene knew just what type of a person she was. In addition to being a legendary figure of the meetings and association community, Marlene had a gentle personality, a huge heart, and a passion for her life and work.
